Reliable Void Fill: Cushioning Protection for Fragile Items

Loose fill packing peanuts offer a reliable, all-purpose protective packaging solution, ideal for filling empty spaces in boxes. Designed to surround and cushion products, they help prevent damage caused by shock, vibration, and movement during transit, moulding easily around items to provide immediate and secure protection. Our EcoFlo loose fill is a maize-based, starch loose fill supplied in 15 cu ft, 7.5 cu ft and 5 cu ft bags, white and cylindrical in shape.

Biodegradable Packing Peanuts: A Genuine Alternative to Polystyrene

EcoFlo is made from renewable starch materials and is fully biodegradable and compostable, complying with EN13432 standards. Its water-soluble when saturated, reducing litter concerns, and is produced using a single-stage, energy-efficient manufacturing process making it a more sustainable choice than traditional polystyrene packing peanuts. If youre looking to reduce plastic across your packaging more broadly, our loose fill packing peanuts work well alongside other protective packaging materials.

Proven Performance: Independently Tested Impact Protection

EcoFlo has been independently tested by Brunel and Humberside universities and demonstrated superior impact protection compared to polystyrene alternatives. It has an ignition temperature of over 390C and a smouldering temperature of over 200C, is free from hazardous decomposition products, and carries no risk of hazardous polymerisation.

Easy to Use: Pour and Protect

Simply place your item in a box and pour in the loose fill chips to occupy all remaining space. This ensures items are held firmly in place, preventing movement during handling and transport, and absorbs impact if the package is dropped, protecting the contents from damage. For wrapping the item itself before bedding it in loose fill, our large bubble wrap adds an extra layer of surface protection.
